Cleaner fuel for Western Approach Distribution Park

A new renewable fuel station enabling quieter, cleaner deliveries — helping to reduce air pollution, carbon emissions, and traffic noise in the local area.

Helping to reduce emissions, improve air quality, and support cleaner deliveries across the region

A planning application has been submitted for a new Bio-LNG (Bio-Liquefied Natural Gas) refuelling station at Western Approach Distribution Park — one of the South West’s busiest logistics hubs.

If approved, the station would provide low-carbon fuel for HGVs operating in and out of the site, helping reduce emissions, lower noise levels, and improve local air quality.

This page explains what Bio-LNG is, how the site would operate, and what the benefits could be for the surrounding area.

Example of a comparable facility, operating in Northamptonshire.
